Could White Sox, Cubs land MLB All-Star Game in near future?
Both Chicago baseball teams stole the headlines this offseason with impact players heading both to the North Side and the South Side.
On the business side of baseball, both franchises could not be more happy with the excitement from the fan bases as sales for season tickets for the White Sox have exploded and the Cubs are transforming historic Wrigley Field into more of a modern ballpark.
The next step for both teams could be to bring in the “Midsummer Classic.”
CSN Business Insider Rick Horrow believes new MLB commissioner Rob Manfred could be receiving big time bids from both Chicago teams.
“Look for Chicago to be actively involved in All-Star Game bidding for years to come,” Horrow said.
